The idea was to have 4-8 machines networked with a printer and wifi internet acess ready to go to whatever event they were needed at to fill a room and provide access to media production n stuff. Also some type of visual display may be called for ( to fill the rest of the space ). From a vidio wall to sculpturs and large posters.
Please list ideas for vidios, posters, skills/costs and anything else thay may be of benifit to get this up and running.
May be worth collaberating with other media/tek groups.
Hi. Having just run an outdoors event of this nature I think I can offer some advice and support on this project. The QPWC (http://www.queenspark.me.uk) launched at a community open day on Sept12th04. There were over 10,000 people at the event. We had multiple laptops and a wi-fi hotspot with backhaul to office to provide internet uplink. Be in touch if you would like this support - rob@queenspark.me.uk
